The magnitude and direction of the net electric field is given below

  • Le the first infinite plane sheet have the + charge and the second sheet infinite plane has the - charge.
  • Which means each one have only one category of charge.
  • When they are put parallel to each other. Then one side of sheet will have + charge and other side has the - charge of the other sheet.
  • They will attract each other therefore the field lines will travel from positive to negative charge.
  • The magnitude of electric field is E= -б/ε₀
