⇒  Area of parallelogram =b×h

⇒  P1=b1×h1

⇒  P2=B2×h2

⇒  b1=b2             [ As per the question ]

⇒  h1=h2             [ As the distance between 2 parallel lines is always equal ]

∴  P1=b×h        ------ ( 1 )

∴  P2=b×h

By equating ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) we get,

⇒  P1=P2
