TO FIND: The minimum distance between particle in meters
SOLUTION:

As we are given in the question,

There are two particles P and Q.

Also,

The minimum distance that is to be found when Q moves with the velocity of 10m/s,

As we know,

v=u+at

Using the values given in the question.

10=0+2t

t=5sec.

Therefore,

Distance traveled by P in 5 seconds is 5×10 = 50m.

And distance traveled by Q in 5 seconds is = 0.5×2×52 = 25m.

So,

The minimum distance between the two particles P and Q will be 40+25−50

=15m
Therefore,

The minimum Distance between the two particles is 15m.
