mass of particle A = 10 g= 0.010 kg
Velocity, v = 12 m/s
momentum = mv
= 0.010 kg X 12 m/s
= 0.12 kg m/s
mass of particle B = 20 g= 0.020 kg
Velocity, v = 15 m/s
momentum = mv
= 0.020 kg X 15 m/s
= 0.3 kg m/s
Total momentum = 0.12 kg m/s + 0.3 kg m/s
= 0.42 kg m/s downwards
