Given :-

Velocity of first particle =  {u}_{1}

Velocity of Second particle =  {u}_{2}

Since,

 {u}_{1} \perp {u}_{2}

{u}_{1}•{u}_{2} = 0

(u1 i - gt j)•(u2 i - gt j) = 0

u1 u2 - g²t² = 0

g²t² = u1u2

t = √(u1u2/g²)

t = √u1u2/g
