Answer:

RAHIM = 882

KARIM = 800

Step-by-step explanation:

Assume Rahim's share = X

He gets after 3 year = X * (1 + 5/100)^ 3

= X * 1.158

Karim's share = 1682 - X

He gets after 5 year = (1682 - X ) *(1 + 5/100)^5

= (1682 - X ) * 1.276

These both amount are same

=> 1.158 * X = ( 1682 - X) * 1.276

=> 1.158 * X = 2146.232 - 1.276 * X

=> 2.434 * X = 2146.232

=> X = 881.77

=> X = 882

Karim = 1682 - 882 = 800

Answer:

RAHIM = 882

KARIM = 800

Step-by-step explanation:

Assume Rahim's share = X

He gets after 3 year = X * (1 + 5/100)^ 3

= X * 1.158

Karim's share = 1682 - X

He gets after 5 year = (1682 - X ) *(1 + 5/100)^5

= (1682 - X ) * 1.276

These both amount are same

=> 1.158 * X = ( 1682 - X) * 1.276

=> 1.158 * X = 2146.232 - 1.276 * X

=> 2.434 * X = 2146.232

=> X = 881.77

=> X = 882

Karim = 1682 - 882 = 800
