Area of path along length=120×2=240m
Area of path along the breadth=65×2=130m
Area of common square=2×2=4m
Area of both paths=240+130-4=366m
Area of rectangular garden=120×65=7800m
Area of remaining park=7800m-366m=7434m

Dear Student,

● Answer -

Area of the remaining park = 7434 sq.m

◆ Explanation -

Total area of the rectangular park is -

Area of park = 120 × 65

Area of park = 7800 sq.m

Area of paths is -

Area of paths = 120×2 + 65×2 - 2×2

Area of paths = 366 sq.m

So area of the remaining park is -

Area of the remaining park = 7800 - 366

Area of the remaining park = 7434 sq.m

Hence, area of the remaining park is 7434 sq.m.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
