Area of the rectangle = length x breadth

                                      = 1250 + 950 - 100

                                     = 2,100 m²

Cost of putting soil is Rs. 80 per m²

Cost of putting soil in the pathways = 2100 x 80 = Rs. 1,68,000

Area of the rectangular lawn without pathways = Area of rectangular lawn - area of the pathway

                                                                            = 11,875 - 2100

                                                                                = 9775 m²

If cost of putting grass is also Rs.80 per m²

Cost of putting grass on rectangular lawn excluding pathways = 9775 x 80  

                                                                                               = Rs. 7,82,000
