  • The hills in the Karbi are Shillong plateau have a 300 to 400 meters and have a moderate slope and the highest peaks are about  1,360 meters high. nd the Singhason peak is located in the east and is bounded on the north by Nagaon  and Golaghat districts, with an area of about  10,434 km and has about 13.3 % of the total geographical area.  
  • As Geological findings of Karbi Anglong also indicates that the core of the region was composed of gneissic (mostly granite) rock of the Archean age,  sedimentary rocks of the different type shale, sandstones, limestones, etc.
