Two people A and B are pulling a flag in a 2D tug-of-war. Person A is applying a force of 25 Newtons west and 50 Newtons north. The total force is 70 Newtons west and 10 Newton South. What force must person B applying.

Explanation:

We know that as per Newton's III Law, the action and reaction forces act in the opposite direction.

Now, when A and B are two opposite forces (Tug of war) and as force of A is greater than B, the rope shall break at a point near to A because tension created in the rope nearer to is more.
