\fontsize{18}{10}{\textup{\textbf{The two have 14 and 10 plums}}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the two people have x and y plums respectively

Now, first condition says

x-2=y+2

=>x=y+4

Second condition says

x+2=2(y-2)

=>x=2y-6

From first and second condition

y+4=2y-6

=>y=10

So x=y+4

=>x=10+4

=>x=14
