They can, through radio communication. They could also hear each other (albeit probably not very well) if they touched their helmets together so the sound vibration could transmit directly through their helmets.
Apart from these two approaches, they could not hear each other. Sound is pressure waves propagating through a medium (e.g., the atmosphere). In the vacuum of space (or very close to a vacuum, like on the moon) there is nothing for these pressure waves to transmit through, hence no sound.
