Two persons A and B are 350 m apart if A can run at the speed of 7m/sec and B can run at the speed of 3 m/sec find in how much time will they meet. (1)They run in same direction. (2)They run in opposite direction.

$if \: they \: run \: in \: same \: direction \\ the \: speed \: is \: 7 - 3 = 4ms \\ time \: taken \: = \frac{distance}{speed} = \frac{350}{4} = 87.5minutes \\ if \: the \: run \: in \: opposite \: direction \: speed \: is \: 7 + 3 = 10 \\ then \: time \: taken \: = \frac{350}{10} = 35minutes$
