the speed of person A = 4 km/ hr
and the speed of person B = 5 km/ hr
we know that ,
distance= speed× time.
thus ,
distance covered by person A;
d1 = 4×3 hr = 12 km
. distance covered by person B;
d2= 5×3 hr = 15 km
thus distance between them after 3 hr
= d2-d1. { d2>d1}
= (15-12) km
= 3 km
