two persons A and B have 30 sheep between them. They sell them at different prices but each receives the same amount. If A had sold his at B's price, he would have received Rs. 3200 and if B had sold his at A's price, he would have received Rs.2450. How many sheep belonged to A ?​

Let the selling price of B's sheep be Q.

Now as per question,

X×Q= 3200.

Or, Q=(3200/X)

Again,

Y×P =2450.

P=(2450/Y)

Now putting the value of P and Q in equation (2) we get.

(2450/Y)X = (3200/X) Y
