the magnitude of the forces are equal. But as they are applied in opposite direction so the net force comes out to be 0.
Thus the cart keeps moving with the same speed in the same direction

Answer:

Explanation:

From the given statement we can infer about the magnitudes and direction of the forces applied that the -

1. The magnitude of forces will be equal and the same.

2. The forces will also act in the opposite direction.

3. Hence, as a result, both of them cancel out each other and the net effect will shift and thus become less.

Therefore, Two persons are applying forces on two opposite sides of a moving  cart and the cart still moves with the same speed in the same  direction we can infer that both the forces are of equal magnitudes and applied in the opposite directions.
