Two persons do the same amount of work. the first person does it in 10 seconds and the second in 20 seconds. find the ratio of the power used by the person to that by the second person.

the ratio should be.
let the work be x
therfore
for first person p=x/10
for second person p=x/20
the ratio is (x/10)/(x/20)
=2/1

Let the work done be x

Ist person

Power = work done / time taken

= x/10

2nd person

Power= work done / time taken

= x/ 20

Ratio : x/10 ÷x/20

=2/1

=2:1
