Two persons on the same side of a tall building notice the angle of elevation of the top of the building to be 30° and 60° respectively. If the height of the building is 72 m, Find the distance between two persons. (√3=1.73)

in triangle dbc

tan 60 =cd/bd

√3=72/bd

bd=72*√3/3

bd=24*1.73

bd=41.52


in triangle abc

tan 30 =cb/ab

1/√3=72/ab

ab=72*√3

ab=124.56


distance between person

ad=ab-bd

=124.56-41.52

=83.04 m
