two pieces of lengths 2 1/7m and 5 3/14m are cut off from a rope 12m long. what is length of remaining rope.​

Total length = 12

Two pieces which are cut off = 15/7 and 73/14

Total length cut off = 15/7 + 73/14 = 130/14

Length of rope left = 12-103/14

= 168-103/14 = 65/14 = 4 9/14.

Ans = The length of the rope left is 4 9/14
