length of one piece=2.25m

length of second piece=1.75m

length of welded wire=(2.25+1.75)m

                                    =4.00m

=(2*100)cm + 25cm
=200cm + 25cm
=225 cm

Length of the second wire =1m 75cm
= (1*100)cm+75cm
=100cm+75cm

Total length of the welded wire =225cm+175cm
=400cm
$= \frac{400}{100}$m
=4m
