Answer:

Two pillars of height 8 feet each with four faces shown, of the gate of a stadium have one-one pyramid of height 4 feet each having same base of their tops. The base of each pillar is 6ft * 6ft. If the pillars with pyramid are painted with Rs. 75 per square feet, then the total cost = Rs 37800

Step-by-step explanation:

Pillar dimension = 6 * 6 * 8 ft

one Pillar 4 faces area = 4 * 6 * 8 = 192  ft²

two pillar area = 2 * 192 = 384 ft²

one pyramid area = 6 * √( (6/2)² + 4²)  +  6 * √( (6/2)² + 4²)   ( 6 * 6 area of pyramid will not be painted as it is hidden)

= 6 * 2 * 5

= 60 ft²

two pyramid area = 2 * 60 = 120 ft²

Total area to be painted = 384 + 120 = 504 ft²

Total cost = 75 * 504 = Rs 37800
