two pipes can fill a tank in 16min. and 24 min. respectively. By opening 2 pipes together, after how much time the pipe A should be closed so the the tank be filled un 12 minutes together?

Time taken by 2nd pipe=24 min
A/q. 1/16+1/24=(3+2)/48=5/48
Time taken by both tap=48/5min
=9min 36sec
