Two pipes can separately fill a tank in 3 hours and 4 hours respectively. If they are both used together, how much time will they take to fill the tank. ​

Filling rate with both pipes open = 1/3 + 1/4 per hour.

.33 + .25 = .58 “tank fills per hour”
