Heya!

Here is ur answer....

Given that,

Pipe A can fill a stump in 25min

Pipe B can fill the stump in 30min

Also, Pipe C can empty the 3 gallons per one minute.

Let,

the work done by the pipe A in 25 min = 1/25

The work done by the pipe B in 30min = 1/30

The work done by C to empty the tank = 1/C

If the three pipes works together..then they can fill the tank in 15 mins

Therefore,

1/25+1/30 -1/C = 1/15

1/C = 1/25+1/30-1/15

1/C = 6+5-10/150

1/C = 1/150

C = 150

Therefore, the pipe C can empty the tank in 150 mins.

As the pipe C can empty the three gallons in 1 min

Then,

The amount of water that can emptied by the pipe C in 150 mins= 150×3 = 450

Therefore, The capacity of the tank is = 450 gallons
