As per given question, A=24(Time to fill up tank)

Similarly, B=30

Take the LCM of both A & B i.e 120

This number shows that 120 is full work which will have to complete by the A &B .

So firstly find out that how much time would take by single one( A or B).

So divide the 120/24 =5 and 120/30=4 respectively.

So individually the time taken by A & B would be 5 & 4.

Then in that case when both work together , the time will take 120/(5+4) = 40/3 hours
