To find cost an pizza

Multiply eq. ( 1 ) by 2

=> 4x + 8y = 124 ..... ( 3 )

Now,

Substract eq. ( 2 ) from eq. ( 3 )

4x + 8y = 124

- ( 4x + 10y = 140 )

- 2y = - 16

2y = 16

y = 16/2

y = 8 or (we can write it as $8 )

So Now,

put value of y in eq. ( 1 )

=> 2x + 4y = 62

=> 2x + 4 ( 8 ) = 62

=> 2x + 32 = 62

=> 2x = 62 - 32

=> 2x = 30

=> x = 30/2
