Let the two mirrors be MM and MM¹ to be mutually perpendicular .n this case the number of images formed will be ( 360/90)-1=3
[The angle of inclination between the mirrors is 90 degrees.]

In the diagram, AB is the incident ray and two mirror are perpendicular to each other.Therefore CD is the reflected ray.
