The number of images will change in the following way -

• Let,

The number of images produced by the mirror = n

Angle between the two mirrors = θ

• So,the final mathematical equation will be :

n = (360°/θ) - 1

• For example,

If two mirrors have an angle of 90° between them, then :

θ = 90°

n = (360°/90°)-1 = 4-1 = 3

So, 3 images will be formed.

• In this way, the number of formed images are related to the angle between two mirrors.
