Two plane mirrors are inclined to each other at an
angle 70° as shown in figure. A ray of light PO
incident at some angle i on the mirror M¹, falls after
reflection from it, on the other mirror M² from
which it gets reflected along a direction parallel to
the plane mirror M¹. Find the value of i

Explanation:

when M² is made perpendicular to the M¹ .it will be turned through 20⁰. thus normal N makes an angle with reflected ray parallel to the mirror M¹ is 20⁰. then I = 40⁰
