Two plane mirrors are kept with their reflecting
surfaces inclined at 100º. A mosquito flying
between the combination of these mirror finds
multiple images of itself. At a particular moment
the mosquito is very close to one of the mirrors.
How many images will be formed and how
many images can the mosquito see.

Answer:

4)3,2

Explanation:

N=360÷theta

here theta is 100

360÷100=3.6

so 3.6~4 and 4 is even as per formula N=(n-1)

(4-1)

N=3

When two vertical mirrors face each other parallel, an unlimited images of the an object held between them are created. There are two flat mirrors with opposing reflecting surfaces. Both mirrors are distancing themselves from one another. Between the mirrors, a point item is positioned.

The first image created is at a range equal to twice the range between the mirrors, as you can see. Similarly, the distance between the nth and nth order images will be 2 times n the distance between them.
