Two plane mirrors are parallel to each other and spaced 20 cm apart a luminous point is placed between them at a distanced 5 cm from 1 mirror determine the distances of the 3 nearest images from each other.

The question can be solved by using the concept of multiple reflections in case of parallel mirrors in which image formed by one mirror acts as an object for other after the first image has been formed. The distances of first three images formed by m2 are 3,7,23 metre respectively.
