Answer:

the square plot has greater area by 100 m2

Step-by-step explanation:

the perimeter of the square is

perimeter of the square = 4a

=4*50

=200m

perimeter of the rectangle=2(l+b)

2(60+b) = 200m

60+b = 200 /2

b = 100-60

b = 40m

now , the area of the square is = a*a

=50*50

=2500m 2

the area of the rectangle is = l*b

=60*40

=2400m2

the difference is 2500m2-2400m2 =100m2

Answer:

Rectangular Plot is greater by 100 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of :

square = 4 × side

4 × 50

200cm²

Rectangle = same as square

2(l+b) = 200cm²

2(60+b) = 200cm²

120+2b = 200cm²

2b = 200-120

2b = 80

b = 40

breadth = 40cm²

Area of :

Square = a² = 50² = 2500cm²

Rectangle = lb = (40)(60) = 2400cm²

Area of Rectangle is Greater by 100cm²
