perimeter of square =( 4* S)
=( 4 * 60 )
=240 m
perimeter of rectangle = 2 (L+B)
2 (L + 1.5) = 240m
(L+ 1.5 )=240/2
=120
L= 120 -1.5
=119.5
L=119.5
area of square =S * S
=60 *60
=3600m2
area of perimeter = (L*B)
= (119.5*1.5)
=179.25m2
so area of square has greater area
=( 4 * 60 )
=240 m
perimeter of rectangle = 2 (L+B)
2 (L + 1.5) = 240m
(L+ 1.5 )=240/2
=120
L= 120 -1.5
=119.5
L=119.5
area of square =S * S
=60 *60

area of perimeter = (L*B)
= (119.5*1.5)
=179.25m2
so area of square has greater area
