Perimeter of square =4×side

=4×64

=256cm

Perimeter of Rectangle = Perimeter of square

⇒2×(length+breadth)=256

⇒2×(80+breadth)=256

⇒breadth=48cm

Area of square =side×side

=64×64

=4096cm

2

Area of rectangle = =l×b

=80×48

=3840cm

2

Area of Square is greater than Area of Rectangle.

Step-by-step explanation:

Equating Perimeter to get breadth= 32m

Area of square = 36² =1296m²

Area of rectangle= 40×32= 1280m²

Hence AREA OF SQUARE IS BIGGER BY 16
