Side of a square plot= 60m

Perimeter of the square plot

= 4 X S

= 4 X 60

=240m

P of squar plot = P of rectangular plot

P of rectangular plot = 2(l+b)

240 = 2(l+15)

240 = 2l + 30

2l = 240-30

2l = 210

l = 105m

A of square plot = 60 X 60

=3600 square metres

A of rectangular plot = 105 X 15

= 1575 square metres

Therefore, area of the square plot is greater by (3600-1575) 2025 square metres.
