Two lands of shape : Square and Rectangle

Now,

\mathsf{\underline{ \ Square \ }}

Side = 60 m

Perimeter = 4 ( Side ) = 4 ( 60 ) = 240 m

\mathsf{\underline{ \ Rectangle \ }}

Breadth = 1.5 m

Perimeter = 2 ( Length + Breadth ) = 2 ( Length + 1.5 )

Now,

It is given that the perimeter of both the lands are same.

\therefore

240 = 2 ( Length + 1.5 )

Length + 1.5 = \mathsf{\dfrac{240}{2}}

Length + 1.5 = 120

Length = 120 - 1.5

Length = 118.5 m

Now,

\large\mathsf{\underline{ \ Area \ of \ Square \ }}

= ( Side )²

= ( 60 )²

= 3600 m²

\large\mathsf{\underline{ \ Area \ of \ Rectangle \ }}

= Length × Breath

= ( 1.5 ) × ( 118.5 )

= 177.3 m²

From the above calculated data, we arrive at the result that :

\large\mathsf\red{Area \ of \ Square \ is \ greater.}
