hello frnd!!

here's ur answer...

given:-

side of square=64m

length of rectangle=70m

breadth of rectangle=?

perimeter of square=perimeter of rectangle

perimeter of square=4×side

=4×64

=256m

perimeter of rectangle=256m

2(l+b)=256m

2(70+b)=256m

140+2b=256m

2b=256-140

2b=116m

b=116/2

b=58m

hence, breadth of the rectangle is 58m.

area of square=side×side

=64×64

=4096m²

area of rectangle=l×b

=70×58

=4060m²

area of square is more by=4096-4060

=36m²

hope this helps....
