Answer:

the area of a square is greater than the area of rectangle by 182.25 m square

answer is provided with explanation

If it is helpful then plzzz don't forget to like and feel free to ask me if any problem.

Also If u want then plzzzz mark it as branliest

Step-by-step explanation:

Side of a square=60 m

perimeter of a square= 4×60 =240m

perimeter of a rectangle = perimeter of a square

so perimeter of a rectangle = 240 m

p = 2(l+b)

240 = 2(l+1.5)

240 = 2l + 3

240-3=2l

237 = 2l

l = 237/2

l = 118.5 m

area of square = 60×60 = 360 metre square

area of rectangle = 118.5×1.5 = 177.75 m square

so that area of square is greater than the area of rectangle hence,

difference in area= 360-177.75 m square = 182.25 m square
