Step-by-step explanation:

square side = 60m

perimeter of a square = 4× side

= 4 × 600dm

= 2400dm

perimeter of a rectangle = 2( l +d)

= 2 ( l + 1.5)

perimeter of a rectangle = perimeter of a square

2( l+ 1.5) = 2400

l + 1.5 = 2400/ 2

l = 1200 - 1.5

l = 1198.5 dm

are of a square = side x side

= 600× 600

= 360000dm

are of a rectangle = l× d

1198.5 × 1.5

= 1797.75dm

360000- 1797.75 = 358202.25dm
