Two plots of land have the same perimeter ,one is a square of side 64 m and the other is a rectangle of length 70m ,find the breadth of the rectangle plot , which plot has the greater area and by how much

According to question,

4×64=2×70+2×b

256-140=2b

B=63m

Area of square plot=64×64

=4096m2

Area of rectangular plot=70×63

=4410m2

So area of rectangular plot is greater

By 4410-4096

=314m2

64+64+64+64= 2(70 + breadth),

256/2 = 70 + breadth ,

128-70= 58 m = bredth ..

square have more area as 64*64 =4096m²
whereas rectangle have area as 70*58=4060m²
