Side of a sq.=50cm

Perimeter=50cm*4=200cm

Area of square=50cm*50cm=2500cm^2

A,T,Q

Perimeter of sq.=Perimeter of rectangle

Let the breadth of rect. be"x"

= 60cm+60cm+x+x=200cm

120cm+2x=200cm

2x=200cm-120cm

2x=80cm

x=40cm

Hence, Breadth =40cm

=Area of rectangle =60cm*40cm=2400cm^2

Therefore, Area of square >Area of rectangle by (2500cm^2-2400cm^2=100cm^2)

Hi there!! Here is your answer:-

Perimeter of square=4*side=50*4=200 cm

Perimeter of rectangle=200 cm

Length=60cm

Breadth=x

Perimeter=2(l+b)

200=2(60+x)

200=120+2x

200-120=2x

80=2x

x=80/2=40 cm

Area of square=s*s=50*50=2500cm sq

Area of rectangle=l*b=60*40=2400 cm sq

Clearly,

Area of square is greater than area of rectangle by :-

2500-2400=100 cm sq

Hope you get it pls mark as brainliest answer...
