Answer:

perimeter of square=240m=perimeter of rectangle

perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

2*15+2*b=240

30+2b=240

2b=210

b=105

Step-by-step explanation:

area of rectangle=1575m

area of square=3600m

area of square is greater than rectangle

Answer:

Square has greater area by 2025 sq units.

Step-by-step explanation:

Square perimeter = 4a = 4*60 = 240 m

Square area = 60*60 = 3600 m^2

Rectangle perimeter = 2(l+b)

Now,

According to ques,

square perimeter = rectangle perimeter

Or, 240 = 2(l+15)

Or, 120-15=l

Or, l=105

therefore, rectangle Area = 105*15 = 1575m

Square has larger area by,

(3600-1575) m^2

= 2025 m^2
