The direction of the electric field from point C is left  towards -q negative charge.

The direction of the electric field from point A is left  towards -q negative charge.

The direction of the electric field from point D is downwards  towards -q negative charge.

The direction of the electric field from point B is right towards -q negative charge.

Given:

Charge +q and -q are placed 2m apart.

To Find:

The direction of the electric field.

Solution:

We know the direction of the electric field is always from positive to negative charge.

Therefore, The direction of the electric field from point C is left  towards -q negative charge.

The direction of the electric field from point A is left  towards -q negative charge.

The direction of the electric field from point D is downwards  towards -q negative charge.

The direction of the electric field from point B is right towards -q negative charge.
