the point is not in between the two charges because  if it is in between the two charges both charges attract  or repel it in same direction.

let the point be p and it is at a distance x from -2mc.

v=kq/r

at p v due to both charges become equal.

4/1+x=-2/x

2x=-1-x

x=1/3m from -2mc
