The distance between the charges is 0.3 m

Explanation:

Using coulomb's law

F = Kq^2/r^2

r^2 = Kq^2 / F

r^2 = 9 x 19^9 x (4 x 10^-6)^2 / 1.6

r^2 =  9 x 10^9 x 16 x 10^-12 / 16 x 10^-1

r^2 =  9 x 10^-12

r = 3 x 10^-1 m

r = 0.3 m

Thus the distance between the charges is 0.3 m
