Answer:

0 N ( Zero )

Explanation:

Given that,

Two point charges Qa and Qb are placed.

The coordinates are :-

  • Qa = (-5,0,0)
  • Qb = (5,0,0)

Also, the magnitudes are :-

  • Qa = -2 μC
  • Qb = -2 μC

Now, a third charge (assume q) is placed at the origin (0,0,0) having magnitude 1 μC.

To find the net force on the third charge, q.

\red{Diagram:-} Refer to the attachment.

Clearly, charge 'q' is placed at the middle position of the charges Qa and Qb.

Also, the charge q is positive and other two charges Qa and Qb are negative.

As we know that, Unlike Charges attract each other.

Therefore, both the charges Qa and Qb will attract the charge q towards themselves.

But, being same in magnitude and same nature, the net force will cancel out.

Hence, the charge 'q' will remain at it's position and net force will be zero.
