Since, the linear velocities of the two points are diametrically opposite hence we can find that the radius of one of the disc will be 2 times the radius of other disc.

Therefore, we get that the radius of the disc will be 2R. So, the angular speed of the disc will be v=Rω. Which after substituting we will get the value as v=2Rω or ω=v/2R where v is the angular speed of the disc. Again, we can find the angular velocity as ω=v/x which is 2v/(x+2R) or 2v/(2R+2R) which also on solving we will get ω=v/2R.
