when unpolarized light of intensity passes through the first polarised light then intensity of the emergent light is given by :-

I = Io/2

now, the light of intensity I falls on the second polaroid whose axis is inclined at the angle of 60 ° with the axis of the first polaroid the intensity of emergent light is :-

I' = I cos^2 60°

= Io/2(1/2)^2

= Io/8

fraction of incident light transmitted through the system :-

I'/Io = 1/8

= 1/8 × 100

= 12.5
