Distance between  tops of Poles = 39 m

Step-by-step explanation:

two poles 15m and 30m high stand up right in a play ground

=> Vertical Distance between top of poles = 30 - 15 = 15 m

Poles  feet are 36m apart

=> Horizontal Distance between top of poles = 36 m

distance between  tops of Poles = √(15² + 36²)

= √((3 * 5)²  + (3 * 12)²

= √3²( 5² + 12²)

= 3 √(25 + 144)

= 3√169

= 3 * 13

= 39

distance between  tops of Poles = 39 m
