Distance between the feet of two poles (DC) = 12 m
AD = BC = 6 m
BE = CE - BC = 11- 6 = 5 m
To prove: Find AE
Proof: According to Pythagoras theorem,
AE² = AB² + BE²
AE² = 12² + 5² = 169
AE = 13.
